CSE RESULTS 2026 – The March 2026 Civil Service Exam Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) results (Professional and Subprofessional), including the complete list of passers and top 10 examinees, are released by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on or before May 11, 2026, sixty-four (64) days after the exams.

The March 2026 CSE-PPT was conducted on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at testing centers nationwide. These were administered through the Civil Service Commission (CSC) regional offices in the National Capital Region (NCR), Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON and MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Release of Results

According to the CSC Calendar of Civil Service Examinations for 2026 and Examination Advisory No. 02, series of 2026, the results of the March 2026 Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) are expected to be released on or before May 11, 2026.

The target release date is equivalent to sixty-four (64) calendar days after the examination. However, the exact date may vary depending on the total number of examinees and the time required for processing the results.

We advise examinees to start monitoring official announcements for the March 2026 CSE-PPT results beginning May 4, 2026.

The CSC follows a standard protocol in setting the target release of examination results based on the number of examinees and the processing time needed to complete the evaluation.

How to access the March 2026 CSE-PPT results?

Once available, the list of passers in the March 2026 CSE-PPT may be accessed through the widget found on the left side of the CSC website.

Alternatively, examinees may go directly to the CSC Examination Portal to view the results.

Note: CSC said that test results, including the exact values of the ratings, released by the CSC are FINAL AND IRREVERSIBLE. The CSC does not implement re-checking of test results in all types of civil service exam nor does it apply any mathematical rounding of decimal value on test results/ratings.

Coverage of Exams

The CSE-PPT is a general ability test designed to measure an individual’s preparedness to enter government service.

The CSE-PPT covered the following subjects (in English and Filipino):

Professional Level (Prof) -170 items with a time limit of 3 hours and 10 minutes

  • Numerical Ability (number sequence, basic operation, and word problem)
  • Analytical Ability (word analogy and logical reasoning)
  • Verbal Ability (vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, and correct reasoning of thought process)

Subprofessional Level (SubProf) - 165 items; time limit is 2 hours and 40 minutes

  • Numerical Ability (number sequence, basic operation, and word problem)
  • Clerical Ability (filing, spelling)
  • Verbal Ability (vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, and correct reasoning of thought process)

General information items on the following for both levels:

  • Philippine Constitution;
  • Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713);
  • Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts; and
  • Environment Management and Protection

Passing Score

Passers who got at least 80 percent rating will be eligible for a position in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements - education, experience, and training.

OCSERGS: Verification of Rating

Examinees, both passed and failed, may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website by May 18, 2026 (Monday) or as indicated in the corresponding issuance/advisory.

Previous Examinations

The Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) continues to attract hundreds of thousands of Filipinos aspiring to enter government service. Below is a summary of the results from the three most recent examinations:

August 2025 CSE-PPT: A total of 50,096 out of 331,675 examinees (15.10%) successfully passed the civil service exam. Of the 302,028 candidates who took the Professional Level, 45,730 passed, resulting in a 15.14% passing rate. Meanwhile, 4,366 out of 29,647 examinees (14.73%) passed the Subprofessional Level. Lauren Gillianne T. Closas from the National Capital Region (NCR) topped the Professional Level with a rating of 97.39%, while Marc Lesney D. Maddumba, also from NCR, led the Subprofessional Level with a rating of 96.59%.

March 2025 CSE-PPT: Out of 318,977 examinees nationwide, 46,470 successfully passed the examination. At the Professional Level, 42,472 out of 287,250 examinees (14.79%) earned Civil Service Professional eligibility. Meanwhile, 3,998 out of 31,727 examinees (12.60%) passed the Subprofessional Level. The topnotchers were Charina Mae P. Tigbayan from NCR, who obtained a rating of 97.91% in the Professional Level, and Gerald Son B. Borilla III, also from NCR, who topped the Subprofessional Level with a rating of 97.19%.

August 2024 CSE-PPT: In this exam, 47,449 out of 329,465 examinees passed nationwide. For the Professional Level, 42,812 out of 296,758 candidates (14.43%) qualified, while 4,637 out of 32,707 examinees (14.18%) passed the Subprofessional Level. Mark Justine M. Domingo from Region IV achieved the highest score in the Professional Level with 97.49%, while Irmengard Julie G. Gelsano from Region VIII topped the Subprofessional Level with a rating of 97.00%.

For the March 2026 CS exam results, takers may expect of passing rate around 10-20%.

Certificate of Eligibility to Passers

Passers shall be issued a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC letterhead.

Those who will pass should coordinate and verify first through CSC announcement if their Certification is already available before going to the CSC Regional/Field Office. Contact numbers of the CSC office may be accessed at the CSC website.

Next Civil Service Exam

The next Civil Service Examination for both Professional and Sub-Professional levels is scheduled for August 9, 2026. The application period and other details will be announced soon.
