MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) releases on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the official results of March 2026 Civil Service Exam- Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT), also known as Career Service Examination.
The CSC said that a total of 307,747 aspiring government workers took the Career Service Examination across 95 testing centers on March 8, 2026.
Among all regions, Region IV recorded one of the highest numbers of examinees, alongside the National Capital Region (NCR) and Region VI.

Verification of Rating/OCSERGS
Individual test result using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) can be accessed through the CSC website starting May 18, 2026 (Monday).
Certificate of Eligibility
Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.
Passers must personally claim their CoE. Representatives are not allowed to claim the same. Claiming of CoE shall be available approximately 30 days after the posting of the List of Passers or as indicated in the corresponding advisory of CSC.
Those who will pass should coordinate and verify first if their Certification is already available before going to the CSC Regional/Field Office. Contact numbers of the CSC office may be accessed at the CSC website.
Apart from the letterhead CoE, passers may opt to apply for CoE printed on security paper with fee.
Exam Overview
The Career Service Professional and Sub-professional examinations are general ability tests designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service.
Passing rate is set at 80 percent.
The civil service eligibility resulting from passing the CSE(SubProfessional) shall be called Career Service SubProfessional Eligibility. It is the first level eligibility appropriate only for first level (clerical) positions in the government which do not involve practice of profession and are not covered by special/other laws.
