CSE RESULTS 2026 – The March 2026 Civil Service Exam Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) results for Professional Level, including the complete list of passers and topnotchers (top 10 passers), are released by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) between May 5 and 7, 2026, sixty (60) days after the exams.

The March 2026 CSE-PPT was administered on Sunday, March 8, 2026 in 16 regions nationwide: Metro Manila, Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, Cordillera Administrative Region and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Release of Results

Update as of May 1, 2026: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced that the results of the March 2026 Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) will be released between May 5 and May 7, 2026.

In an official advisory, CSC stated: “Please be advised that the new schedule for the actual release of passers/eligibles for the 08 March 2026 Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), Professional and Subprofessional levels, will be between 05 and 07 May 2026. Accordingly, the corresponding list of passers/eligibles and top passers on the national level will be posted on the CSC website (www.csc.gov.ph).”

Previous Update

According to the CSC Calendar of Civil Service Examinations for 2026 and Examination Advisory No. 02, series of 2026, the results of the March 2026 Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) are expected to be released on or before May 11, 2026.

Career Service Eligibility

Passing the CSE-PPT grants either Career Service Professional or Subprofessional eligibility.

Professional Eligibility qualifies for first-level (clerical) and second-level (technical, executive, or managerial) government positions, except those requiring a professional license or covered by special laws.

Subprofessional Eligibility applies only to first-level (clerical) positions not requiring a license or covered by special laws.

The CSC clarified that both eligibilities exclude positions requiring licensed professional practice.

Verification of Rating via OCSERGS

Examinees, both passed and failed, may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website by May 18, 2026 (Monday).

OCSERGS can be accessed through the CSC website or through this link (https://erpo.csc.gov.ph/ocsergs/).

The examinee should encode/fill in the required data in the corresponding data fields under the personal information, and the details of examination (i.e., date, type, and place of examination) accurately, following the illustrated/indicated format.

Certification of Eligibility (CoE)

Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.

Passers may also opt to apply for regular Certification of Eligibility (printed on security paper at cost).

Civil Service Exam Coverage

The examination aims to measure the individual’s preparedness to enter government service.

The CSE-PPT covered the following subjects (in English and Filipino):

Professional Level (Prof) -170 items with a time limit of 3 hours and 10 minutes

  • Numerical Ability (number sequence, basic operation, and word problem)
  • Analytical Ability (word analogy and logical reasoning)
  • Verbal Ability (vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, and correct reasoning of thought process)

It also covers general information topics like Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713), Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts; and Environment Management and Protection.

Passing Score

CSC said that passers who got at least 80 percent rating will be eligible for a position in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements - education, experience, and training.

Previous Exams

During the most recent civil service exams (August 2025), 50,096 out of 331,675 examinees (15.10%) examinees passed. At the Professional level, 45,730 out of 302,028 candidates (15.14%) qualified for Civil Service Professional eligibility. Lauren Gillianne T. Closas from the National Capital Region (NCR) clinched the top spot with a rating of 97.39%

Civil Service Exam Schedule

The second and final CSE-PPT for Professional and Subprofessional levels in 2026 is scheduled on August 9, 2026. Applications will be accepted from May 14 to June 10, 2026, with slots filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
