MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) releases on May 5-7, 2026, the results of the March 2026 Civil Service Exam, including the alphabetical list of Professional level passers from Region 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula).
The list covers successful examinees from the provinces of Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga Sibugay.
The exam was conducted on March 8, 2026 in 95 testing centers across 16 regions nationwide, accommodating a total of 307,747 examinees.

Release of Results
The CSC on Thursday, April 30, confirmed that the results of the March 8, 2026 Civil Service Exam (CSE) for Professional and SubProfessional levels will be released between May 5 and 7, 2026, 60 days after the exam.
"Please be advised that the new schedule for the actual release of passers/eligibles for the 08 March 2026 Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), Professional and Subprofessional levels, will be between 05 and 07 May 2026."
Earlier, CSC had targeted May 11, 2026, as the release date, as indicated in Examination Advisory No. 02, series of 2026. The adjustment reflects the actual number of examinees and processing time.
Examination Overview
The CSE-PPT is a general ability test designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service.
CSC announced that passers who got at least 80 percent score will be eligible for the first and second level positions in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements of the positions (education, experience, and training).
The commission added that passers should coordinate and verify with the CSCRO concerned for the availability of their Certification of Eligibility (CoE) and the requirements in claiming it.
Passers must personally claim their CoE. Representatives are not allowed to claim the same.
Examination Coverage
The Professional level exam covered vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, organization of ideas, analysis, word analogy, data interpretation, logic and abstract reasoning and numerical reasoning.
Exam also covered General Information items: Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (RA 6713), peace and human rights issues and concepts and environmental management and protection.
