Verification of Rating
All takers may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website starting May 18, 2026 (Monday).
Note: CSC said that test results, including the exact values of the ratings, released by the CSC are FINAL AND IRREVERSIBLE. The CSC does not implement re-checking of test results in all types of civil service exam nor does it apply any mathematical rounding of decimal value on test results/ratings.
Certificate of Eligibility
Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.
PASSERS ARE ADVISED TO VERIFY/CHECK FIRST THE AVAILABILITY OF THE CERTIFICATION BEFORE GOING TO THE CSC REGIONAL/FIELD OFFICES.
Passers are further advised to personally claim their Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional/Field Offices.
Apart from the letterhead CoE, passers may opt to apply for CoE printed on security paper with fee.
Benefits of Passing the Exams
Passing the civil service exam would result in the conferment of either Sub-professional or Professional eligibility.
Sub-professional eligibility is appropriate only to first level (clerical) positions while the professional level is appropriate up to second level (technical) positions. Said eligibilities do not apply to positions that involve practice of profession or that are covered by special laws.
The CSC said that eligibility is a minimum requirement – along with education, experience, and training – for permanent appointment to government career service positions.
