MANILA, Philippines – The March 2026 Civil Service Exam-Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) results are released by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on May 5-7, 2026, within sixty (60) calendar days after the exam.
The list of passers for professional level for Region 6 (Western Visayas) is available on this page as announced.
The first batch of civil service exam this year, with over 300,000 hopefuls, was held on March 8, 2026 in various testing locations nationwide.
Region 6 recorded significant turnout with 24,717 examinees out of 307,747 (8.03%) total examinees nationwide.

Release of Results
CSC announced the exact release date of CSE-PPT results on April 30, 2026 via Examination Advisory No. 4, series of 2026.
"Please be advised that the new schedule for the actual release of passers/eligibles for the 08 March 2026 Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), Professional and Subprofessional levels, will be between 05 and 07 May 2026," CSC said.
In previous update, CSC was targeting May 11, 2026 release of results as stated in calendar of civil service examinations for Year 2026.
Verification of Ratings
Examinees, whether they passed or failed, may access their individual test results through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), available via the CSC website starting May 18, 2026.
Certificate of Eligibility to Passers
Passers should coordinate and verify with the CSC Regional Office concerned the availability of their Certification of Eligibility (CoE) and the requirements in claiming it. A complete directory of the CSC Regional Offices is available at the CSC website.
Passers must personally claim their CoE. Representatives are not allowed to claim the same. Claiming of CoE shall be available approximately 30 days after the posting of the List of Passers.
Exam Overview
The Career Service Professional and Sub-professional examinations are general ability tests designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service.
Passing rate is set at 80 percent.
The CSC said that eligibility is a minimum requirement – along with education, experience, and training – for permanent appointment to government career service positions.
