MANILA, Philippines – The full results of March 2026 Civil Service Exam – Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT), also known as Career Service Examination, are released on May 5-7, 2026, sixty (60) calendar days after the exam.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announces those who have hurdled the professional level examinations in Region 8 (Eastern Visayas).
Held on March 8, 2026 in various testing centers, it was one of the biggest conduct of the civil service exams in a single day.

Release of Results
The CSC on Thursday, April 30, confirmed that the results of the March 8, 2026 Civil Service Exam (CSE) for Professional and SubProfessional levels will be released between May 5 and 7, 2026, 60 days after the exam.
"Please be advised that the new schedule for the actual release of passers/eligibles for the 08 March 2026 Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), Professional and Subprofessional levels, will be between 05 and 07 May 2026."
Earlier, CSC had targeted May 11, 2026, as the release date, as indicated in Examination Advisory No. 02, series of 2026. The adjustment reflects the actual number of examinees and processing time.
CSC Announcements
Individual test result using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) can be accessed through the CSC website starting May 18, 2026 (Monday).
CSC said that test results, including the exact values of the ratings, released by the CSC are FINAL AND IRREVERSIBLE. The CSC does not implement re-checking of test results in all types of civil service exam nor does it apply any mathematical rounding of decimal value on test results/ratings.
Certificate of Eligibility to Passers
Passers should coordinate and verify with the CSC Regional Office concerned the availability of their Certification of Eligibility (CoE) and the requirements in claiming it. A complete directory of the CSC Regional Offices is available at the CSC website.
Passers must personally claim their CoE. Representatives are not allowed to claim the same. Claiming of CoE shall be available approximately 30 days after the posting of the List of Passers.
Examination Overview
The Career Service Professional and Sub-professional examinations are general ability tests designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service.
Passing rate is set at 80 percent.
The CSC said that eligibility is a minimum requirement – along with education, experience, and training – for permanent appointment to government career service positions.
