MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) releases the results of the August 10, 2025 Civil Service Exam - Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), also known as the Career Service Examination, on Monday, October 13, 2025, or sixty-four (64) days after the exam date.
The second Civil Service Exam for 2025 was held nationwide on Sunday, August 10, 2025, covering 16 testing regions across the country.
The complete list of passers for the National Capital Region (NCR) Professional Level exam, specifically for surnames starting with H–O, will be available on this page once officially announced by the CSC.

Examinees who obtain a passing rate of at least 80% will be conferred Civil Service Eligibility. This grants them qualification to apply for first and second-level government positions, provided they also meet the necessary education, experience, and training requirements.

All examinees, whether passed or failed, may view their individual test results through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) starting October 25, 2025 (Saturday), or as stated in the official CSC advisory.
Successful passers are advised to contact their respective CSC Regional Office to confirm the availability and requirements for claiming their Certification of Eligibility (CoE). A directory of CSC Regional Offices can be found on the official CSC website. Please note that personal appearance is required when claiming the CoE; representatives are not permitted. Claiming usually starts around 30 days after the posting of the list of passers.
For other exam-related concerns such as verification of examinee number or clarifications on results, examinees should coordinate directly with the concerned CSC Regional Office, as they handle all result verification and releasing matters.
The Civil Service Exam (CSE-PPT) is a general ability test designed to measure a candidate’s readiness to serve in the government sector. The three-hour Professional Level exam evaluates numerical, analytical, and verbal skills using both English and Filipino.
The examination also includes questions on general information such as the Philippine Constitution, the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713), peace and human rights concepts, as well as environmental management and protection.
