MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced the topnotchers (top 10 passers) in the August 2025 Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT). View on this page for sub-professional level list of topnotchers.

Marc Lesney D. Maddumba from NCR topped the SubProfessional Level exam, earning an impressive score of 96.59%.

Close behind, Gerald Sebastian V. Isorena from Region V claimed second place with 96.29%.

The CSC released the CSE-PPT results (complete list of passers) on Monday, October 13, 2025, within 64 calendar days after the exam.

A total of 331,675 individuals took the August 2025 CSE-PPT across 95 testing centers in 16 regions nationwide.

August 2025 CSE-PPT Results Summary

The second regular CSE-PPT this year was conducted in 95 testing centers nationwide on Sunday, August 10, 2025.

CSC announced that passers who got at least 80 percent score will be eligible for a position in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements - education, experience, and training.

How to view CSE-PPT results?

The complete list of successful examinees of the August 10, 2025 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test may be accessed here or on the official website of CSC.

Schedule for the release of Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional/Field Office will be announced. Passers are advised to verify first the availability of and the requirements and procedures in claiming their Certification of Eligibility before proceeding to the CSC office.

Moreover, examinees, both passed and failed, may generate their individual rating through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed on the CSC website.

Previous Examinations

The March 2025 Career Service Examination - Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) subprofessional level was led by Gerald Son B. Borilla III of NCR, who achieved the highest rating of 97.19. He was followed by Reid Chrysler C. Manares from Region XII with 96.26.

During the August 2024 CSE-PPT, Irmengard Julie G. Gelsano from Region VIII secured the top spot with 97.00%, while Lleara Christel Rovea L. Fiesta of Region I placed second with 96.72.

For the March 2024 batch, Mia Kimberly F. Noche of Region IV ranked first with 97.24. Close behind was Jacqueline D. Corral from the Bicol Region, who posted 96.87.

Meanwhile, the August 2023 CSE-PPT saw Leonard Brian E. Nicolas of NCR at the top with 90.83, followed by Dave C. Marinas from Cagayan Valley with 90.26.

Earlier, in March 2023, LM Tricia T. De La Cruz from Western Visayas led the subprofessional level with 90.24, while Gwen L. Ambrona of Davao Region came in second with 90.17.
