MANILA, Philippines – The August 10, 2025 Civil Service Exam (CSE) results for SubProfessional Level exam, including complete list of passers, are released online on Monday, October 13, 2025.

As announced, 50,096 out of 331,675 (15.10%) passed the August 2025 Civil Service Exam.

Of the 302,028 examinees who took the Professional Level, 45,730 passed, representing a 15.14% passing rate. Meanwhile 4,366 or 14.73% of the 29,647 examinees successfully passed the Subprofessional Level.

The August 2025 CSE-PPT was administered in 16 regions nationwide: Metro Manila, Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, Cordillera Administrative Region and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Release of Results

UPDATE (October 13, 2025 – 8:40 AM): The CSE results will be released at 12:00 noon today!

The CSC announced that "the results from the CSE-PPT 10 August 2025 will be accessible online starting on October 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM. On this date and time, individuals can directly visit this website to view their results."

The official release date was announced on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, via CSC Examination Advisory No. 15, s. 2025. The advisory states:

"Please be advised that the new schedule for the actual release of passers/eligibles for the 10 August 2025 Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), Professional and SubProfessional levels, will be on 13 October 2025."

Earlier, CSC had targeted October 18, 2025, as the release date, as indicated in Examination Announcement No. 05 dated April 24, 2025. The adjustment reflects the actual number of examinees and processing time.

Verification of Rating via OCSERGS

Examinees, both passed and failed, may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website by October 25, 2025 (Saturday) or as indicated in the corresponding issuance/advisory.

OCSERGS can be accessed through the CSC website or through this link (https://erpo.csc.gov.ph/ocsergs/).

The examinee should encode/fill in the required data in the corresponding data fields under the personal information, and the details of examination (i.e., date, type, and place of examination) accurately, following the illustrated/indicated format.

Certification of Eligibility (CoE)

Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional or Field Office where the exam was taken.

Passers may also opt to apply for regular Certification of Eligibility (printed on security paper at cost).

Civil Service Exam Coverage

The examination aims to measure the individual’s preparedness to enter government service.

The CSE-PPT covered the following subjects (in English and Filipino):

SubProfessional Level (SubProf) - 165 items; time limit is 2 hours and 40 minutes

  • Numerical Ability (number sequence, basic operation, and word problem)
  • Clerical Ability (filing, spelling)
  • Verbal Ability (vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, and correct reasoning of thought process)

It also covers general information subjects like Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713), Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts; and Environment Management and Protection.

Passing Score

CSC said that passers who got at least 80 percent rating will be eligible for a position in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements - education, experience, and training.

Previous Exams

During the most recent civil service exams (March 2025), 46,470 out of 318,977 (14.57%) examinees passed. At the SubProfessional level, 3,998 out of 31,727 candidates (12.60%) qualified for Civil Service SubProfessional eligibility. Gerald Son B. Borilla III from NCR obtained the highest rating of 97.19 followed by Reid Chrysler C. Manares from Region XII with a rating of 96.26.
