MANILA, Philippines – The October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, are released online on Thursday, October 16, 2025, four (4) working days after the last day of exam.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the second Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on October 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2025.
As announced, 4,570 out of 5,900 (77.46%) passed the October 2025 Physician Licensure Exam (PLE).
The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his/her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations; and two (2) examinees were withheld pending submission of the required documents.

Release of Results
Update (October 16, 2025 – 5:22 PM): The PRC has confirmed that the PLE results will be released within the day.
In a Facebook post, PRC announced: “Newest batch of Future MDs... get ready as the October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination results will be posted within the day!”
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024, the October 2025 Physician board exam results will be released on Thursday, October 16, 2025, four (4) working days after the series of exams.
NOTE: Results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
Registration and Oathtaking
PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: November 24, 2025
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Verification of Ratings
Physician board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
Coverage of Examination
The Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Medicine Board Exam covered the following subjects:
October 4: Biochemistry, Anatomy and Histology, Microbiology and Parasitology
October 5: Physiology, Legal Medicine, Ethics and Medical Jurisprudence, and Pathology
October 11: Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Surgery, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology and Rhinology, and Medicine
October 12: Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and Nutrition, and Preventive Medicine and Public Health
Previous Examinations
In the March 2025 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), the PRC released the results after four (4) working days. Out of 3,827 examinees, 1,901 successfully passed the exams. Adrian Eleazar Go from Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) topped the board with a rating of 87.75%.
During the October 2024 PLE, results were released in just three (3) working days. A total of 3,845 out of 6,600 examinees passed the exam. The top spot was claimed by Isaac Edron Jones Orig from Davao Medical School Foundation with a score of 89.33%.
In the April 2024 PLE, the PRC also released the results after three (3) working days. Out of 3,434 examinees, 1,906 passed the board. Christopher Niño Duane Camay Mendoza from Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine, Inc. garnered the highest rating of 89.25%.
Meanwhile, in the October 2023 PLE, the results were published seven (7) working days after the exams. A total of 4,083 out of 6,456 examinees passed. Justin Riley Yap Lam from Cebu Institute of Medicine led the batch with a top rating of 89.00%.
