MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is set to release on Thursday, October 16, the results of the October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), including the list of top-performing schools and overall performance of schools.
PRC administered the second Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on October 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2025.

Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
Previous Examinations
In the March 2025 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), Xavier University emerged as the lone top-performing school, posting a passing rate of 80.70% or 46 out of 57 examinees.
During the October 2024 PLE, the University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila led all schools with an impressive 96.97% passing rate (160 out of 165 passed), followed by Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) with 95.31% (122 out of 128 passed).
In the April 2024 PLE, the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC) ranked first among top-performing schools with 89.23% (58 out of 65 passed), while the University of Santo Tomas (UST) came in second with 84.85% (56 out of 66 passed).
For the October 2023 examinations, UP-Manila once again topped the list with a 97.62% passing rate (164 out of 168 passed), followed closely by Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) with 97.32% (109 out of 112 passed).
Meanwhile, in the March 2023 PLE, UST was recognized as the lone top-performing school, recording a passing rate of 83.61% or 51 out of 61 examinees.
