MANILA, Philippines – The August 2025 Civil Service Exam - Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) results are expected to be released and posted on the CSC website www.csc.gov.ph on or before October 18, 2025.
While the exact release date of CSE-PPT results is not yet announced, the CSC stated in Examination Advisory No. 14 series 2025 that the "list of passers shall be posted on the CSC website www.csc.gov.ph by October 18, 2025."
The agency added that since October 18 falls on a Saturday, the release of test results may be adjusted/moved either earlier on the last working day before the subject date, or later to the next regular working day.
"Moreover, the date itself may be subject to adjustment based, or depending, on the actual number of examinees," CSC emphasized.
Take note that the CSC is following the protocol on target release of results according to the number of examinees.
To quote, CSC said "For CSE Professional and SubProfessional levels, release of results is set at 69 days after exam in light of the 350,500 maximum exam slots, effecting additional 10 days to the computed Program Expenditure Classification (PREXC)-based 59-day-after-exam release of test results for CY 2025 for exam slots of up to 300,000. The additional 10 days are calculated at 1 day for every 5,000 exam slots in excess of 300,000. However, this may be subject to adjustment depending on the actual number of examinees."
With this, we advise takers to monitor announcement of CSE-PPT results between October 9 (Thursday) and October 18, 2025 (Saturday), or 60-69 calendar days after the exam.

Previous Examinations
During the March 2025 Civil Service Exam Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT), CSC released results within sixty-one (61) calendar days. A total of 46,470 out of 318,977 (14.57%) passed the exams.
In the August 2024 CSE-PPT, results were released within sixty-five (65) calendar days. A total of 47,449 out of 329,465 (14.40%) passed the exams.
In March 2024 exams, it took sixty-seven (67) days before CSC was able to release results. Out of 335,385, a total of 57,683 (17.20%) passed.

Individual Examination Result/Rating Through OCSERGS
Examinees, both passed and failed, may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website by October 25, 2025 (Saturday) or as indicated in the corresponding issuance/advisory.
The examinee should encode/fill in the required data in the corresponding data fields under the personal information, and the details of examination (i.e., date, type, and place of examination) accurately, following the illustrated/indicated format.

Certification of Eligibility (CoE) for Passers
Passers shall be issued a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC letterhead.
Those who will pass should coordinate and verify first through CSC announcement if their Certification is already available before going to the CSC Regional/Field Office. Contact numbers of the CSC office may be accessed at the CSC website.
Next Civil Service Exam
The next Civil Service Examination for both Professional and Sub-Professional levels is scheduled for March 2026. The application period and other details will be announced soon.
