MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) released on Friday, June 13, the list of topnotchers (top 10) in the March 2025 Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT). View on this page for professional level list of highest placers.
With a rating of 97.91, Charina Mae P. Tigbayan from the National Capital Region (NCR), topped the Professional level followed by Joshua P. Cabangon, also from NCR, with a rating of 97.56.
Completing the list of top passers for the Professional level are Isaiah Gil E. Ortiz (NCR), 97.24; Mica Maurine M. Adao (NCR) 97.22; Frances Diana C. Serrano (Region IV) 96.95; Isza Marie N. Socorin (Region XII) 96.93; Carlo P. Fornoles (Region V) 96.92; Jan Alfred Vincent R. Ferrer (Region III) 96.89; Rodel P. Francisco (NCR) 96.88; and Monique S. Coching (NCR) 96.86.
In terms of regional performance, NCR achieved the highest passing rate among all regions in both levels of the exam. For the Professional level, NCR achieved a passing rate of 20.40%, with 8,206 passers out of 40,217 examinees. Similarly, for the Subprofessional level, NCR recorded a 15.31% passing rate, or 933 passers out of 6,095 examinees.
Other regions of the country bearing the highest passing rates covering both levels of examination include: Region V (19.30%), Region IV (18.75%), and Region II (17.74%).
CSC released the CSE-PPT results on Friday, May 2, 2025, or 61 calendar days after the exam.
The agency said that 287,254 individuals took the CSE Professional Level.

The first regular CSE-PPT this year was conducted in 95 testing centers nationwide on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
CSC announced that passers who got at least 80 percent score will be eligible for a position in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements - education, experience, and training.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the August 2024 Career Service Examination - Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) professional level exam, Mark Justine M. Domingo from Region IV topped the exams with 97.49%. Joyce D. Dublin from Region VII followed with a rating of 96.47.
In the March 2024 CSE-PPT professional level exam, Viron Gil A. Estrada from the National Capital Region (NCR) achieved the highest score with a rating of 97.30. Micah Angelo R. Bacani and Duke Donald R. Cotoco, both from the NCR followed with identical rating of 97.26.
In the August 2023 CSE-PPT professional level exam, Patricia D. Victa from NCR topped the exam with a rating of 93.60. Mark Angelo R. Montero (Bicol Region) followed with a rating of 92.59.
With a rating of 92.63, Glenn C. Gonzales from NCR topped the March 2023 Professional level. Elijah Denelle E. Manuel, also from NCR, followed with a rating of 91.74.
Leading the passers for professional level in the August 2022 civil service exam was Kate Angelica P. Pasobillo from Bicol Region, who garnered a rating of 90.08%. Donna Lyn Mackay from NCR came in second with 89.96%.
HOW TO GET CSE-PPT RESULTS
The complete list of successful examinees of the March 2025 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test may be accessed here or on the official website of CSC.
Schedule for the release of Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional/Field Office will be announced. Passers are advised to verify first the availability of and the requirements and procedures in claiming their Certification of Eligibility before proceeding to the CSC office.
Examinees, both passed and failed, can generate their individual test result using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) not later than May 17, 2025 (Saturday) or as indicated in the corresponding issuance/advisory.
