The CSC said the resulting eligibilities—Fire Officer Eligibility and the Penology Officer Eligibility—are both second level eligibilities that are specific and appropriate for second level ranks in the fire protection and jail management and penology services, respectively, and other functionally related services. The appropriateness of these eligibilities, though, does not include ranks under the Philippine National Police, the CSC clarified.

CSC Reminders

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) emphasized that all examination results, including the exact numerical ratings, are final and irreversible. The agency does not allow rechecking of test results for any civil service examination and does not apply mathematical rounding to decimal ratings.

Beginning July 27, 2026, both passers and non-passers may generate their individual test results through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS). The CSC will not mail reports of rating to individual examinees.

To access their individual rating, examinees should prepare their Examinee Number. They must also accurately provide the required personal information and examination details—including the date, type, and place of examination—following the format indicated in the system.

Successful examinees may request a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on the CSC's official letterhead starting August 19, 2026. This certification is issued free of charge by the CSC Regional or Field Office where the examination was taken.

Passers may also apply for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on security paper for a corresponding fee. Please note that this option has a separate set of requirements and procedures. Applicants are advised to verify the requirements with their CSC Regional Office or visit the CSC website for more information.
