MANILA, Philippines – RESULTS ARE OUT! The Civil Service Commission (CSC) released the results of the June 2026 Fire Officer Examination (FOE) on Thursday, July 16, 2026. View the complete list of passers below.
The FOE was administered on Sunday, June 7, 2026, across 18 testing centers nationwide. The CSC also conducted the Penology Officer Examination (POE) on the same day.
Overall, 4,405 out of an estimated 27,121 examinees (16.24%) successfully passed the June 2026 FOE and POE.
For the FOE, an estimated 2,917 out of 18,017 examinees passed, translating to a 16.19% passing rate. Meanwhile, 1,488 out of 9,104 examinees passed the POE, equivalent to a 16.34% passing rate.
*Note: The CSC did not disclose the actual number of FOE examinees. The estimated figure of 18,017 was derived from the reported number of passers (2,917) and the published 16.19% passing rate.

The CSC said that the Fire Officer Eligibility is specific and appropriate for second level ranks in the fire protection and other functionally related services. The appropriateness of this eligibility, though, does not include ranks under the Philippine National Police.

Release of Results
The CSC issued Examination Advisory No. 08, s. 2026 on July 6 confirming release of results on July 16.
To quote, CSC said: Please be advised that the List of Passers for the 07 June 2026 FOE and POE shall be posted on the CSC Website www.csc.gov.ph | Examination Results by 16 July 2026. The posting shall also include the Top Passers1 at the national level.
Passing Grade
To pass the test, an examinee should get a general rating of at least 80.00.
Scope of Examination
The scope of examination for the FOE covers General Ability at 25% (Verbal, Analytical, Numerical Skills), and Specialized Area at 75% (fire suppression, fire safety and prevention, fire investigation, and administrative matters).
Verification of Rating
Examinees, both passed and failed, can generate their individual test result using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) by July 27, 2026. Please note that no report of rating shall be mailed to individual examinees.
Examinees are advised to be ready with their Examinee Number as it will be required in accessing their individual rating. Moreover, examinees should encode/fill in the required data in the corresponding data fields under the personal information, and the details of examination (i.e., date, type, and place of examination) accurately, following the illustrated/indicated format therein.
Certificate of Eligibility
Passers shall be issued a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC letterhead.
Those who will pass should coordinate and verify first through CSC announcement if their Certification is already available before going to the CSC Regional/Field Office. Contact numbers of the CSC office may be accessed at the CSC website.
