MANILA, Philippines – The April 2026 Police Executive Service Eligibility (PESE) Written Examination results, including complete list of passers, are expected to be released by the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) on or before June 24, 2026.

A total of 257 qualified Police Lieutenant Colonels took the examinations on April 19, 2026 in designated examination centers nationwide.

Successful examinees of the PESE-WE will form part of the two-phase Police Executive Service Eligibility (PESE) process, which is required for promotion to third-level ranks in the Philippine National Police.

“Hindi lang ito pagsusulit ng kaalaman, kundi pagsusulit ng integridad at kahandaan sa serbisyo. Bilang Pulis ng Pulis, tungkulin naming tiyakin na ang bawat pumapasok at umaangat sa hanay ng kapulisan ay dumaan sa patas, tapat, at makatarungang proseso,” NAPOLCOM Commissioner Rafael Vicente R. Calinisan said.

Meanwhile, NAPOLCOM also conducted the Philippine National Police (PNP) Entrance and Promotional Examinations on the same day, attended by 38,022 PNPEE examinees and 6,794 in-service police personnel seeking promotion.

The two-phased PESE examination consists of a written examination and a panel interview. The date, time and place of the interview shall be officially announced by the Commission.

Both phases contain analytical questions on police leadership and values designed to select the best future leaders in the police service.

Specifically, the written examination for PESE covered the following subject areas: resource management, learning and growth, process excellence and stakeholders' support.
