MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results of the February 2026 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE), including the list of top performing schools and the performance of schools, on Friday, March 6, 2026, five (5) working days after the last day of exams.

PRC administered the first regular NLE this year on February 26 and 27, 2026 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Ilocos Sur, Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Urdaneta (Pangasinan).

Here's the performance of schools in the February 2026 Nurse Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation":


Previous Examinations

In the November 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE), Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, Saint Louis University, Cebu Doctors University, and 18 other institutions led the group of schools with 100 or more examinees after posting a perfect 100% passing rate. Trinity University of Asia placed second with a 99.73% passing rate.

During the May 2025 PNLE, the University of Pangasinan emerged as the top-performing school in the 100-or-more examinees category with a 99.16% passing rate. In the 50–99 examinees category, Southern Luzon State University–Lucban, Eastern Samar State University–Borongan, and Universidad de Zamboanga–Pagadian shared top honors after each recorded a 100% passing rate.

Earlier, in the November 2024 PNLE, 11 schools achieved 100% passing rate and jointly topped the list of high-performing institutions. These included the University of Santo Tomas, Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan, Cebu Doctors University, Velez College, Angeles University Foundation, Bicol University–Legazpi, University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Saint Paul University Iloilo, West Visayas State University–La Paz, and Central Mindanao University. Far Eastern University–Manila followed closely with a 99.82% passing rate.

Schedule of Initial Registration

Online registration for new passers/successful examinees for license issuance will be conducted on the following date/s: To be announced (TBA)

Initial registrants are advised to register via the official website of PRC and follow instructions for initial registration. Here are the requirements:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Verification of Ratings

All examinees of the February 2026 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.

Refer to PRC Official Website to check your board exam ratings or score.

The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.

Oathtaking Details

The PRC will announce oathtaking schedules in few days after the release of exam results, and those attending in person must register by noon the day before via https://online.prc.gov.ph.

Inductees must print and bring their personalized Oath Form with a QR code for attendance tagging; those unable to attend in person can opt for an online or special oathtaking.

Following the ceremony, inductees must schedule their Initial Registration online through the same portal.

Coverage of Examinations

The two-day exam covered competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows: patient care, empowering, enabling and enhancing competencies.

The five (5) parts of the NLE are the following:

  • Nursing Practice I (Community Health Nursing)
  • Nursing Practice II (Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child)
  • Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part A)
  • Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part B)
  • Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part C)
