MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the complete results of the March 2026 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination (MTLE), also known as the MedTech board exam, including the list of passers, on March 11, 2026, within three (3) working days after the exam.

PRC conducted the MTLE on March 5 and 6, 2026 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

NOTE: Those who failed to pass the board examination for Medical Technology but had obtained a general rating of at least 70% can register as Medical Laboratory Technician, PRC said.
Release of MTLE Results
According to Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the March 2026 MedTech Licensure Examination results will be released on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, within three (3) working days.
Note that results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
Initial Registration
PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Oath-taking
The PRC announces oathtaking schedules shortly after releasing exam results.
- Face-to-face oathtaking: Register online by 12:00 NN the day before, print the QR-coded Oath Form, and submit it during the ceremony.
- Alternative options: Attend online oathtaking (register at least 5 days before) or request a special oathtaking; announcements are posted once confirmed.
- Online oathtaking: Select “e-OATH” on PRC’s website and print the Oath of Professional form.
- After oathtaking, proceed with Initial Registration by booking an appointment online.
Verification of Rating
MedTech board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's 'Verification of Rating' service and enter the required information to confirm your identity. This service will be available a few working days after the results are released.
Coverage of Examination
The MedTech board exam covered the following subjects: Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology and Parasitology, and Clinical Microscopy on March 5; and Hematology, Blood Banking and Serology, Histopathologic Techniques, Cytotechnology, Medical Technology Laws, Related Laws and Their Implementing Rules, and the Code of Ethics on March 6.
