CLE RESULTS FEBRUARY 2026 – The February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) results, including the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools, and performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on March 12-13, 2026, twenty-four (24) working days after the last day of exam.

PRC administered the first regular CLE this year on February 4, 5, and 6, 2026 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Lipa (Batangas), Nueva Vizcaya,Romblon and Naga.

Note that the third day of the examination in Butuan and Cagayan de Oro was rescheduled to February 8, 2026, due to Tropical Storm “Basyang.”

Release of CLE Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) results will be released on Friday, March 13, 2026, twenty-four (24) working days after the tests.

Note that the results may be released earlier or later than the target date without prior notice. In the August 2025 CLE, results were released after 26 working days. We advise examinees to monitor updates on March 12, which is PRC’s last on-site workday of the week in support of the national government’s energy conservation efforts.

Schedule of Initial Registration

The online registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be held on below schedule.

Those who will register must go to PRC's official site https://online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for smooth transactions. Ensure that you have below requirements ready:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

PRC further advised passers to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Oath-taking

The PRC announces oathtaking schedules shortly after releasing exam results.

  • Face-to-face oathtaking: Register online by 12:00 NN the day before, print the QR-coded Oath Form, and submit it during the ceremony.
  • Alternative options: Attend online oathtaking (register at least 5 days before) or request a special oathtaking; announcements are posted once confirmed.
  • Online oathtaking: Select “e-OATH” on PRC’s website and print the Oath of Professional form.
  • After oathtaking, proceed with Initial Registration by booking an appointment online.

Verification of Rating

All examinees of the February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Exam (CLE), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.

Refer to PRC Official Website to check your board exam ratings or score.

The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.

Coverage of Examinations

The February 2026 Criminologist board exam covered the following subjects:

  • criminal law, jurisprudence and procedure and law enforcement administration (February 4)
  • crime detection and investigation and forensic science (February 5)
  • correctional administration and criminology (February 6).

Previous Examinations

The Criminology Board Exam is among the licensure examinations conducted by the PRC that consistently draw a significant number of examinees.

In the August 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), PRC released the results after twenty-six (26) working days. A total of 13,074 out of 25,410 examinees passed the exam. Stephanie Lucquiao Sajor of Araullo University–San Jose topped the board with a rating of 92.40%.

For the February 2025 CLE, results were announced after twenty (20) working days, with 22,245 out of 36,768 examinees successfully passing the test. John Michael Bundalian Amio from Holy Angel University ranked first with 92.20%.

Meanwhile, in the July 2024 Criminologist Licensure Examination, the PRC released the results fourteen (14) days after the exams. Of the 22,539 examinees, 11,121 passed. Alyssa Eliana Nazaire Bautista of Araullo University secured the top spot with a rating of 92.10%.

About the Criminology Profession

A criminologist is any person who is a graduate of a Baccalaureate Degree in Criminology, who has passed the examination for criminologists and is registered as such by the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology.

Criminologists conduct research on crime, analyze crime data, investigate offenses using forensic science, perform law enforcement and correctional duties, provide security services, and teach criminology-related subjects.

On average, the cost of criminology education ranges from PHP 15,000 to PHP 30,000 per semester in private colleges and universities, while tuition in state and local universities or colleges is typically 40% to 50% lower.
