MANILA, Philippines – The lists of top performing schools and performance of all schools in the October 2025 Electronics Technician (ECT) board exam are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on October 24, 2025 (Friday), four (4) working days after the last day of exam.
PRC administered the second ECT licensure exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on October 20, 2025.
PRC also conducted the Electronics Engineer (ECE) board exam on October 18 and 19, 2025.

Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the October 2025 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
Previous Examinations
In the April 2025 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination (ECT), the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) - Visayas emerged as the top-performing school with a 96.30% passing rate, as 78 out of 81 examinees passed (for schools with 80 or more takers). The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) - Sta. Mesa followed closely with a 90.91% passing rate, or 140 out of 154 examinees.
Meanwhile, in the October 2024 ECT Licensure Examination, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) achieved a perfect 100% passing rate, with all 32 examinees successfully passing. The University of Santo Tomas (UST) ranked second with 91.86%, or 79 out of 86 passers.
In the April 2024 examination, TUP - Visayas also led the schools with a 93.06% passing rate, as 67 out of 72 examinees passed. PUP - Sta. Mesa again followed in second place with 91.30%, or 126 out of 138 passers.
Earlier, in the October 2023 ECT board exams, FEU Institute of Technology topped the list with a 94.34% passing rate, or 50 out of 53 examinees. Saint Louis University (SLU) secured the second spot with 94.12%, or 48 out of 51 passers.
