MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the top-performing schools and overall school performance results for the October 2025 Electronics Engineer (ECE) board exam. The results are released on October 24, 2025, four (4) working days after the final day of the exam.
PRC conducted the second ECE licensure exam (ECELE) this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on October 18 and 19, 2025.
Examination for the Electronics Technicians (ECT) was administered on October 20.

Meanwhile, here's the performance of schools in the October 2025 ECE Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation."
Previous Examinations
In the April 2025 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination (ECELE), the University of the Philippines (UP) – Diliman emerged as the top-performing school with a 94.00% passing rate, as 47 out of 50 examinees successfully passed. The Technological University of the Philippines – Visayas followed in second place with 88.16%, or 67 out of 76 passers.
In the October 2024 ECELE, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) claimed the top spot among schools with an 88.57% passing rate, equivalent to 31 out of 35 examinees passing the exam. UP – Diliman placed second with 84.38%, or 27 out of 32 passers.
In the April 2024, October 2023, April 2023, April 2022, and October 2022 Electronics Engineer board exams, UP – Diliman consistently secured recognition as the lone top-performing school. The university posted impressive passing rates of 90.91% (50 out of 55), 96.67% (29 out of 30), 87.50% (35 out of 40), 85.71% (36 out of 42), and 88.64% (39 out of 44), respectively.
Meanwhile, in the October 2021 ECE board exam, no school qualified for inclusion in the top-performing list.
