MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will announce the results of August 2025 Criminologist licensure examination (CLE) on or before September 16, 2025. This includes the list of top performing schools and performance of schools.
The PRC and the Board of Criminology administered the second Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE) this year on August 1, 2, and 3, 2025 (Friday to Sunday).
The exam was held in various testing centers across the country, including Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Kidapawan.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the February 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), University of Iloilo topped the schools with 96.44% or 271 out of 281 passed (200 or more examinees category). University of the Cordilleras (UC) ranked second with 91.50% or 183 out of 200 passed.
In the July 2024 Criminologist Licensure Exam, University of Mindanao - Davao City topped the schools for the 200 or more examinees category with 90.87% or 189 out of 208 passed. University of Iloilo ranked second with 90.76% or 216 out of 238 passed.
In the February 2024 Criminologist Licensure Exam, Tarlac State University was the top performing school with 100% passing rate or all 89 of its takers passed. Cavite State University ranked second with 98.55 or 136 out of 138 passed.
In the August 2023 CLE, King's College of the Phils Inc. - Benguet was the top performing school with 88.89% or 56 out of 63 passed the exams. UC came in second with 83.72% or 72 out of 86 passed the exams.
