MANILA, Philippines – The August 2025 Criminologist board exam or Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE) results, which include the alphabetical list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools, are expected to be released online between August 22 – September 16, 2025 or in 14-30 working days from the last day of exams.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology administered the second Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE) this year on August 1, 2, and 3, 2025 (Friday to Sunday).
The exam was held in various testing centers across the country, including Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Kidapawan.
Note: Oroquieta, Romblon and Valencia have been removed as testing centers via Resolution No. 2055 s.2025 due to low turnout of examinees.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the August 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) results will be released on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, or within thirty (30) working days after the tests.
However, results are possible to be released ahead of the target or on later date, without prior notice.
We advise examinees to start monitoring for results on August 22, 2025, or 14 working days.
REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING
PRC said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Visit the official website of PRC (https://online.prc.gov.ph/) and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
All examinees of the August 2025 Criminologist Licensure Exam (CLE), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.

The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The August 2025 Criminologist board exam covered the following subjects:
- criminal law, jurisprudence and procedure and law enforcement administration (Day 1)
- crime detection and investigation and forensic science (Day 2)
- correctional administration and criminology (Day 3).
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the February 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), results were released in twenty (20) working days. PRC named 22,245 out of 36,768 who passed the exams. John Michael Bundalian Amio from Holy Angel University topped the board with 92.20%. University of Iloilo topped the schools with 96.44% or 271 out of 281 passed (200 or more examinees category).
In the July 2024 Criminologist Licensure Examination, PRC announced results in fourteen (14) days after the exams. The agency named 11,121 out of 22,539 who successfully hurdled the exams. Alyssa Eliana Nazaire Bautista from Araullo University clinched the highest place with 92.10%. University of Mindanao - Davao City was the top performing school for the 200 or more category with 90.87% or 189 out of 208 passed.
In the February 2024 Criminologist Licensure Examination, PRC released results in 22 working days from the last day of examination. A total of 15,684 out of 32,495 passed the exams. Mark Angelo Hidalgo Marquez from Notre Dame of Tacurong College topped the board with 91.30%. Tarlac State University was the top performing school with 100% passing rate or all 89 of its takers passed.
In the August 2023 Criminologist Licensure Examination, PRC announced results in 14 working days from the last day of examination. A total of 5,743 out of 17,576 passed the exams. Jericson Balaba Jalagat from Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College - Marbel aced the board with 90.15%. King's College of the Phils Inc. - Benguet was the top performing school with 88.89% or 56 out of 63 passed the exams.
