Actor Joross Gamboa finishes AB Biblical Studies

MANILA, Philippines – Who doesn’t know the actor Joross Gamboa, who has been dubbed the “Pambansang Best Friend” and the “Pambansang Lucky Charm” in films?

He is called that because he is often cast as the best friend of the lead in television series or films, and every movie he’s part of tends to be a box-office hit—just like "Hello, Love, Goodbye" “Rewind,” and "Hello, Love, Again."

But this time, he takes the spotlight as the lead in his own story after sharing a new milestone in his personal life.

On June 7, Joross proudly shared that he had completed his AB Biblical Studies degree program at Global Life University (GLU)—a revelation that surprised netizens, as many had no idea he was even attending college. But what shocked them even more was the degree program he pursued.

“Global Life University (GLU) graduates of 2025 AB Biblical Studies 🙏🏻 Thank you Lord All Glory to God!🙌🏻🤍,” he said on his Instagram post.

Congratulations poured in for him from colleagues in the showbiz industry, fans, and netizens alike.

Global Life University (GLU) is an educational institution that specializes in theological studies, aiming to prepare students for ministry work on a global scale.

It has several campuses, with its main campus located in Pasig City, Philippines, and regional branches in areas such as Marikina, Bulacan, Pampanga, and Cavite, based on information from the university's Facebook pages.

GLU also has a presence in the United States and is continuing to expand internationally.

The Bachelor of Arts (AB) in Biblical Studies is a four-year program that offers a comprehensive exploration of the Bible, including its historical and cultural background, as well as methods of interpretation.

The program prepares students with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively study, analyze, and apply biblical teachings in both ministry and academic environments.

Congratulations, Joross!
