MANILA, Philippines – The May 2025 Nurse Licensure Exam (NLE) results are expected to be released on or before May 14, 2025, or within five (5) working days after the last day of exam.
The Nurse Licensure Exam results include the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools, performance of schools and schedule of registration and oath-taking.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) administered the first regular NLE this year on May 5 and 6, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Ilocos Sur.

RELEASE OF NLE RESULTS
Based on PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024, the target release of May 2025 Nurses Licensure Exam (NLE) results is on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, or within five (5) working days.
However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. We advise takers to monitor announcement of results starting Friday, May 9.
SCHEDULE OF INITIAL REGISTRATION
Online registration for new passers/successful examinees for license issuance will be conducted on the following date/s: To be announced (TBA)
Initial registrants are advised to register via the official website of PRC and follow instructions for initial registration. Here are the requirements:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
OATH-TAKING DETAILS
The PRC will announce oathtaking schedules in few days after the release of exam results, and those attending in person must register by noon the day before via https://online.prc.gov.ph.
Inductees must print and bring their personalized Oath Form with a QR code for attendance tagging; those unable to attend in person can opt for an online or special oathtaking.
Following the ceremony, inductees must schedule their Initial Registration online through the same portal.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
All examinees of the May 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.

The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.
COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION
The two-day exam covered competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows: patient care, empowering, enabling and enhancing competencies.
The five (5) parts of the NLE are the following:
- Nursing Practice I (Community Health Nursing)
- Nursing Practice II (Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child)
- Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part A)
- Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part B)
- Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part C)
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the November 2024 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE), PRC announced results in fourteen (14) working days. A total of 29,349 out of 34,534 passed the exams. Chariemae Nuñez Cañazares from Cebu Normal University led the passers with 92.60%.
In the May 2024 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE), PRC released results in just four (4) working days after the exams. A total of 7,749 out of 11,116 passed the exams. Abigail Escueta Cayanan from St. Jude College-Dasmarinas, Cavite Inc. topped the board with 92.60%.
In the November 2023 PNLE, PRC announced results in fourteen (14) working days. A total of 25,761 out of 32,203 successfully passed the exams. Aristotle Calayan Castronuevo from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Cris Vinz Corpuz Tomboc from West Visayas State University- La Paz tied on highest place with 91.00%.
In the May 2023 Nursing Licensure Exams, PRC released results in ten (10) working days. The agency named 10,764 out of 14,364 who passed the exams. Cristin Bagang Pangan from University of the Philippines (UP)-Manila topped the board with 91.60%.
In the November 2022 Nursing board exams, results were released online after twelve (12) working days. PRC named 18,529 out of 24,903 who successfully passed the exams. Abigail Garganta Ramirez from Saint Paul University - Dumaguete clinched the highest spot with 90.00%.
