Region 6 Passers Professional: August 2023 Civil Service Exam Results CSE-PPT

MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission(CSC) announced results of August 2023 Civil Service Exam-Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) also known as Career service examination on November 3, 2023 or in seventy-five (75) calendar days after the exam. The A-G list of passers for professional level for Region 6 (Western Visayas) is available on this page as announced.

The second civil service exam this year, with over 300,000 hopefuls, was held on August 20, 2023 in various testing locations nationwide.

GENERATION OF EXAM RESULTS

Examinees, both passed and failed, may get their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website.

Passers should coordinate and verify with the CSC Regional Office concerned the availability of their Certification of Eligibility (CoE) and the requirements in claiming it. A complete directory of the CSC Regional Offices is available at the CSC website.

Passers must personally claim their CoE. Representatives are not allowed to claim the same. Claiming of CoE shall be available approximately 30 days after the posting of the List of Passers.

EXAM OVERVIEW

The Career Service Professional and Sub-professional examinations are general ability tests designed to measure an individual's preparedness to enter government service.

Passing rate is set at 80 percent.

The CSC said that eligibility is a minimum requirement – along with education, experience, and training – for permanent appointment to government career service positions.
