NCR Passers SubProfessional: August 2023 Civil service exam CSE-PPT results

MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announces on November 3, 2023 the results of August 20, 2023 Civil Service Exam - Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) also known as Career service examination.

The CSC through Examination Advisory No. 09, s. 2023 confirmed on October 27 that results, list of passers for the August 2023 CSE-PPT for Professional and SubProfessional levels shall be posted on the CSC website by November 3, 2023.

Sub-professional exam passers are eligible for the first level position in the civil service (clerical).

Examinees, both passed and failed, can generate their individual test result using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS) by November 18, 2023. Please note that no report of rating shall be mailed to individual examinees.

Concerns on examination result including verification on Examinee Number should be coordinated directly with the CSC Regional Office concerned.

Passers may request for a Certification of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead by December 4, 2023. The letterhead CoE is issued free of charge by the concerned CSC Regional/Field Office where the exam was taken.

Representatives are not allowed to claim on behalf of the passers.

Apart from the letterhead CoE, passers may opt to apply for CoE printed on security paper with fee from any of the 16 CSC ROs nationwide, regardless of the place of examination, also by December 4, 2023.

The CSE-PPT is a general ability test designed to measure an individual’s preparedness to enter government service.

To pass the test, an examinee should get a general rating of at least 80.00.

The Sub-professional exam includes numerical, clerical and verbal components. The test also covered General Information items: Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (RA 6713), peace and human rights issues and concepts and environmental management and protection.

The civil service eligibility resulting from passing the CSE(SubProfessional) shall be called Career Service SubProfessional Eligibility. It is the first level eligibility appropriate only for first level (clerical) positions in the government which do not involve practice of profession and are not covered by special/other laws.
