The "wedding photo" shows Andrea with Mexican model Jorge Saenz and was posted on Jorge's Instagram. It even had a sweet message as the caption.
It's English translation reads, "I am infinitely grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to meet you this time and cross our path. Today begins a new stage of our lives and I am sure that sharing everything by your side will make me the happiest person in the world. [ring emoji]."
Andrea also posted some of the photos with the simple caption, "3-09-19." In the comment section, even our own Philippine bet Miss World 2017 Laura Lehman sent a congratulatory message in the comment section.
Laura commented, "Omg!! Congratulations Andrea! [heart and smile emojis] So amazing! Hope we see each other again one day. :) - Laura (Philippines)."
It's still unclear if the "wedding" is real or just a publicity advertisement. Many were quick to defend the Mexican beauty queen saying that as a tourism ambassador of her hometown Chihuahua, Mexico, the photos were part of their town's tourism advertisement.
There were also those who pointed to a report from a local news agency in Mexico, MujerMexico, which stated that Andrea was married in September 2019.
If proven true, Andrea can be dethroned and 1st runner-up Julia Gama from Brazil will take her place.
May 19 Update: Statement by Ah Chihuahua tourism agency clarified that the "photo is part of a promotion campaign for weddings in Copper Canyon, Chihuahua, Andrea is not married."
