MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Military Academy announces the school/room assignment and instructions for the 2020 PMA Entrance Examinations (PMAEE).

PMAEE this year is set on different dates from August 26 to October 3 in 44 sites nationwide.

To adhere to the social distancing protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic, examinees were divided into morning and afternoon schedule for a particular day of the alloted period. Start time is either 7am or 1pm.

PMA ANNOUNCEMENT

1. Walk-in applicants may process their applications within the 4-day period of PMAEE. Their respective proctors will inform them of their final schedule to take the exam.

2. Applicants with special permits may come to any testing center nearest them on any day within the 4-day period of PMAEE. They must present their special permits together with the other requirements to the proctor team.

3. Online and mail applicants who were not able to download their permits may proceed to the testing centers on their respective schedules. They may get their permits from the proctor teams on the day of their exam. They must, however, present all the other requirements.

4. Changing of testing centers must be immediately coursed through the Office of the Cadet Admission or your respective proctor teams.

5. All types of applicants shall bring the same set of requirements on examination day.

Here's the list of test centers/venue for the PMAEE 2020 (for update as PMA continue to advise the details):

What to bring:
  • Exam permit
  • Medical Certificate (within 48-72hrs)
  • Health declaration form
  • Copy of PSA birth certificate
  • Copy of latest grades
  • 2 pcs 2x2 ID Pictures
  • 2 pcs pencils
  • Valid ID
  • Mask, face shield and personal alcohol

Notes:
  • No face shield and mask, no exam.
  • Do not also to forget to get your travel pass from your respective barangays to allow you to move from your home to the testing center.

Do's and Don'ts

1. DO NOT FOLD, ROLL, DISFIGURE NOR WRITE ON TOP OF YOUR ANSWER SHEET as this may cause problems with the reading machine.

2. When shading your chosen answer, make sure that you do not extend your shading outside the circle. Do not shade more than one circle. Do not make any stray pencil marks on the answer sheet. If you wish to change your answer, erase your old answer completely and shade your new answer. If you do not know the answer, make an intelligent guess. Do not leave any item unanswered.

The following acts will cause you to be disqualified:
  • Cheating
  • Talking to other applicants during the test
  • Passing to or receiving anything from another applicant or unauthorized persons during the test
  • Using any of the following: calculators, cellular phones, or any other electronic gadget

PMAEE RESULTS AND MOVING FORWARD TASKS

If the applicant passes the Exam, s/he will receive a written notice from Office of Cadet Admission (OCA) informing him of the result of the Exam and instructing him to report to AFP Medical Center (AFPMC).

He will then undergo the Complete Physical Examination (CPE) where his medical, physical, mental and emotional condition will be examined to determine his readiness and fitness for the military training in the Academy.
