MANILA, Philippines – (Updated January 8) The November - December 2019 Criminologist board exam or Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE) results, which include the alphabetical list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools are officially released online on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
As announced, 19,191 out of 43,512 (44.11%) passed the exams.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Criminology administered the CLE on November 29 and 30 and December 1 (Friday to Sunday) in Manila, All Regional Offices, Zamboanga, General Santos and Rosales, Pangasinan.
The members of the Board of Criminology who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Ramil G. Gabao, Chairman; Hon. George O. Fernandez and Hon. Ruben A. Sta. Teresa, Members.
CLE RESULTS SUMMARY
REGISTRATION OF PASSERS AND OATHTAKING
From January 16 to 31 and February 3 to 12, 2020, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Visit the official website of PRC (https://online.prc.gov.ph/) and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
The successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
Criminology board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.
Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and provide the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.
NOTE: If you have 'Jr" name suffix, please add it after your FIRST NAME (i.e Eduardo Jr ) to avoid 'no matching record found' error.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1127 s. 2018, which deals with the 'Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2019', the target release of Criminologist board exam results is on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 or in 22 working days after the exam. However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice.
The computed number of days (23) excludes 5 Saturdays, 5 Sundays and 5 holidays - special non-working day on December 24, Christmas Day, Rizal Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
NOTE: Office work in PRC was cancelled on Tuesday, December 3 starting at 12nn due to the continuing inclement weather brought about by Typhoon Tisoy.
We advise examinees to monitor announcement of results from January 6 (Monday) until January 10.
PREVIOUS EXAMS
In the same period last year (December 2018), PRC announced Criminologist board exam results in fifteen (15) working days. A total of 14,324 out of 41,341 passed the CLE. Ella Jeanne Chavez Salvador from Universidad de Zamboanga aced the board with 91.15%. Tarlac State University (TSU) was the top performing school with 98.25% or 56 out of 57 passed the exams.
In the December 2017 CLE, PRC announced results in 21 working days. A total of 13,025 out of 36,516 (35.67%) passed the exams. John Denvert Rule Sanoria of Davao Central College topped the board with 89.50%. TSU also led the schools with 98.21% or 55 out of 56 passed the exams.
In the October 2016 CLE, results were announced in 25 working days. PRC named 10,901 out of 34,768 (31.35%) who passed the tests. Christine Joy Almano Capalar from Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) - Tacurong topped the board with 91.55-percent grade. University of the Cordilleras (UC) was hailed top performing school, 95.16% or 59 out of 62 passed the exam.

NOTE: The results of examination with respect to eight (8) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)

New passers are reminded of Section 19, Article III of R.A. 11131, states, to wit: “All successful candidates of the licensure examination shall take their oath of profession in person before the Board or any of its members, and with the APO in a mass oath-taking ceremony, held for such purpose. Any person authorized by law may administer oath to any successful examinees only upon membership of the APO prior to entering the practice of the profession”.
