MANILA, Philippines – The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 82 Cheerdance Competition (CDC) happens today, November 17, 2019 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Eight member schools are now ready to give their loudest cheer for the fans and viewers of the 25-year-old sporting event.
The defending champions National University (NU) Pep Squad is seeking for their second straight title. They are set to perform last in the 2019 CDC.

CDC 2018 runner-up Far Eastern University (FEU) Cheering Squad will be the fifth performer, hoping to deliver with a Michael Jackson-inspired run.
Adamson University (AdU) Pep Squad, which ranked third last year, will be at No. 6, seeking to bore fruit its bid to regain the throne it won two years ago.
Opening the curtain for today's event at 2:00 pm will be the De La Salle (DLSU) Animo Squad, aiming to improve ranking from 8th place last year.
Completing the line-up are University of the East (UE) Pep Squad, University of the Philippines (UP) Pep Squad, Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion and University of Santo Tomas (UST) Salinggawi Dance Troupe.
