PLE RESULT: September 2019 Physician board exam list of passers, top 10

MANILA, Philippines – The September 2019 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) or Physician board exam results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are released online on Thursday, September 19 or in four (4) working days after the exam.

As announced, 4,006 out of 4,716 passed the exams. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the second Physician board exam this year on September 7, 8, 14 and 15 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao.

The members of the Board of Medicine who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Chairman; Dr. Edgardo T. Fernando, Dr. Clarita C. Maaño, Dr. Eleanor J. Galvez and Dr. Ma. Graciela Garayblas-Gonzaga, Members.



From September 23 to October 4, 2019, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC added.


Physician board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.


The second medicine board exam this year covered the following subjects: biochemistry, anatomy and histology, microbiology and parasitology (September 7); physiology, legal medicine, ethics and medical jurisprudence and pathology (September 8); pharmacology and therapeutics surgery and opthalmology, otolaryngology and rhinology and medicine (September 14); and obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and nutrition and preventive medicine and public health (September 15).


According to PRC Resolution No. 1127, PLE board exam results will be released on September 19 (Thursday) or after four (4) working days from the last day of exam.

However, results may be released ahead of the target or on later date without prior notice. Takers may expect for the announcement of results between September 18 and 20 (Wednesday to Friday).


In the same period last year, PRC released results in five (5) working days. PRC named 3,717 out of 4,542 who successfully hurdled the exams. Kurl Eduvas Jamora from De La Salle Med and Health Sciences - DSLU Dasma topped the board with 91.08%.

In the September 2017 exams, PRC announced results in four (4) working days. PRC named 3,340 out of 4,064 who passed the exam. Vincent Edouard Anthony Retardo Gullas of University of Santo Tomas (UST) aced the board with 90.50%.

In the September 2016 exam, PRC released results in 3 working days. A total of 2,899 out of 3,695 passed. Jeri Charlotte Co Albano, also from UST, led the passers with 89.50%.
