MANILA, Philippines – The October 2025 NAPOLCOM exam results, including the complete list of passers and the top 20 examinees for both the PNP entrance and promotional tests, are expected to be released online between December 2025 and January 2026, or around two to three months after the exams.
The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) administered the exams to 47,537 civilians and police examinees in designated testing centers nationwide on October 19, 2025 (Sunday).
Of the total examinees, 40,869 took the PNP Entrance Exam while 6,668 police personnel tried to hurdle the Promotional examinations.

Release of Results
The official list of passers/qualifiers for the April 2025 NAPOLCOM PNP Entrance and Promotional Exams will be posted on the official NAPOLCOM website at https://napolcom.gov.ph. To view the results, navigate to the 'Exam Results' tab and select 'October 19, 2025'.
In addition, The Summit Express will also publish here the real-time and complete results once available.
Coverage of Examination
The three-hour examination for PNP entrance exam consists of objective-type and multiple choice items on general information, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and logical reasoning.
The promotional examinations, also in 3 hours, include general information, police administration and operations, and police customs and tradition/values and ethical standards.
Reports of Rating/Verification of Test Result
Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for examination passers and Report of Rating (ROR) for unsuccessful examinees will be sent by mail.
Upon request and payment of PHP150.00, CERTIFICATION of successful examinees may be issued by the Examining Division-Personnel and Administrative Service (ED-PAS), NAPOLCOM Central Office, and by the 17 NAPOLCOM Regional Offices nationwide.
Previous Examinations
The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) has consistently released the results of its examinations within two (2) months after the tests. Below is a summary of the recent examination results:
April 2025 NAPOLCOM Exams: Out of 42,499 examinees, 13,464 successfully passed, posting an overall passing rate of 33.80%. Of this total, 8,288 examinees passed the PNP Entrance Examination (26.56% of 31,202 civilian and Patrolmen/Patrolwomen examinees), while 5,176 in-service police officers passed the Promotional Examinations, registering a 59.93% success rate from 8,637 examinees.
November 2024 NAPOLCOM Exams: Results were released after two months, with 13,233 passers out of 44,436 examinees, translating to an overall passing rate of 29.78%. This includes 10,426 out of 36,386 passers of the PNP Entrance Exam (28.65%) and 2,807 out of 8,050 passers of the Promotional Exams (34.87%).
June 2024 NAPOLCOM Exams: Results were also announced two months after the tests. A total of 13,558 out of 45,257 examinees passed, for an overall passing rate of 29.96%. This comprises 8,770 out of 33,429 passers of the PNP Entrance Exam (26.23%) and 4,788 out of 11,828 passers of the Promotional Exams (40.48%).

NAPOLCOM Exam Overview
The eligibility conferred upon passing the PNPE Examination is one of the requirements for appointment in the PNP as a Patrolman/Patrolwoman, while passing the corresponding promotional examination is a requirement for promotion to a higher rank.
The Promotional Examinations are open exclusively to all qualified uniformed members of the PNP who meet the minimum qualification standards for examination in terms of rank and eligibility.
The Promotional Exams are categorized into four (4) levels, reflecting the eligibility requirements for specific ranks within the PNP structure, as follows:
Police Officer (PO) 1st Class Examination: This category qualifies officers for promotion to the ranks of Police Major and Police Lieutenant Colonel. Passers will demonstrate their readiness for senior leadership positions within the PNP.
Police Officer (PO) 2nd Class Examination: For promotion to the ranks of Police Lieutenant and Police Captain. These officers are equipped with the eligibility needed to assume greater responsibilities.
Police Officer (PO) 3rd Class Examination: Qualifies them for promotion to the ranks of Police Master Sergeant, Senior Master Sergeant, Chief Master Sergeant, and Executive Master Sergeant. This exam covers experienced personnel to advance in their respective fields of expertise.
Police Officer (PO) 4th Class Examination: It covers eligibility for promotion to the ranks of Police Corporal and Police Staff Sergeant. This allows officers to further their careers and contribute to the PNP’s mandate with enhanced capabilities and leadership potential.
