MANILA, Philippines – The family of the minor involved in the “paparazzi” issue of Ellen Adarna filed a formal legal complaint against the actress.
A representative from the family of 17-year old Eleila Santos confirmed that they have filed charges of child abuse, cybercrime, and libel against Ellen Adarna Tuesday morning at the office of the city prosecutor of the Pasig City Hall.
This came after Adarna refused to act on the demand of Eleila’s mother, Myra Santos to issue a public apology. Mrs. Santos stressed in an open letter the “unneeded stress and unwanted attention” they have experienced due to the issue.
Mrs. Santos stood by her daughter's claim that she didn't try to take unauthorized photos of the actress with John Lloyd Cruz. They gave Adarna 5 days to respond and issue a public apology but no response was made since posting.
Netizens await public apology
Since the open letter of Mrs. Santos surfaced, netizens await if Ellen Adarna will succumb to the demand of a public apology.
So far, Ellen has posted nothing close to an apology on Instagram. She posted her pedicure session and bonding time with her dog.
