New schedule of civil service exam (CSE-PPT) for Region 2, CAR and Dagupan is November 20, 2016

MANILA, Philippines - The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced on Wednesday, the new schedule of Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) in Region 2, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and Dagupan City.

"The Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) in Region 2, CAR, and Dagupan City is rescheduled to November 20, 2016," CSC said in a comment to one of the inquiries on Facebook.

"As we wait for the release of the advisory/guidelines, in the meantime, kindly contact the CSC Regional or Field Office concerned for your questions," the CSC added.

The examination was originally scheduled on October 23, but due to the impact of super typhoon Lawin in some areas of Northern Luzon, CSC has decided to postponed the exams.

Affected provinces/cities include Abra, Apayao, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, Mountain Province (CAR); Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino (Region 2 or Cagayan Valley) and the city of Dagupan.

Meanwhile, examinations in other regions including Metro Manila were successfully conducted on Sunday.

Note: October 23 CSE-PPT official results can be expected from December 1-9, 2016 or on December 3 (41 calendar days).

In last year's CSE-PPT exams, similar case of suspension of examination in some areas happened due to typhoon. The date of release of the results for the original schedule was different compared to the revised schedule.
