DOLE Holiday Pay Rules
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will implement the applicable holiday pay guidelines for workers covered by the declarations.
Under DOLE Labor Advisory No. 18, Series of 2026, unworked special non-working days follow the "no work, no pay" principle unless a company policy or collective bargaining agreement provides otherwise.
Employees who work on these days are entitled to 150% of their basic wage for the first eight hours.
For Bonifacio Day, a regular holiday, employees who do not work are entitled to 100% of their daily wage, while those who work receive 200% for the first eight hours.
