MANILA, Philippines – Being unable to see did not stop Aira Brigola from pursuing her dream of becoming a licensed professional.

Brigola recently celebrated a major milestone after passing the September 2026 Psychometrician Licensure Examination (PmLE), earning the title of Registered Psychometrician (RPm).

Her inspiring achievement was highlighted by RGO Psychology Review Center in a Facebook post on September 28, 2026, where the review center congratulated Brigola and shared the challenges she overcame on her journey.

According to RGO, Brigola is totally blind and faced difficulties even before beginning her college education. The review center said several schools had declined to accept her.

However, Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU)–Antipolo welcomed her, giving her the opportunity to pursue a degree in Psychology.

Brigola eventually completed her studies and prepared for the licensure examination with the help of the review center.

Her determination was put to the test once again during the actual board examination. According to the account shared by RGO, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) personnel dictated the examination questions and choices to her, while an assigned staff member shaded her selected answers on the Scantron answer sheet.

Despite the additional challenges, Brigola successfully completed the examination and emerged as a newly licensed psychometrician.

For RGO, her achievement serves as a powerful reminder that disability does not have to define a person's ability to pursue their dreams.

The review center praised Brigola for demonstrating grit, perseverance, commitment and hard work, emphasizing that the obstacles she encountered did not discourage her from reaching her goal.

Her story also highlights the importance of providing persons with disabilities opportunities to pursue higher education and professional careers.

From being turned away by several schools to earning a degree in Psychology and eventually obtaining her professional license, Brigola's journey is a testament to resilience and determination.

As RGO aptly expressed in its message to her: “Rather, I am Possible!”

Now a licensed psychometrician, Brigola stands as an inspiration to fellow students and aspiring professionals facing their own challenges, showing that determination and perseverance can help turn seemingly impossible dreams into reality.
