NLE RESULTS — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released on Friday, September 18, 2026, the complete list of passers in the August–September 2026 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE), five (5) working days after the final day of the examinations.
As announced, 28,652 out of 37,359 (76.69%) passed the August and September 2026 NLE.
The results of examinations with respect to twenty-one (21) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The Commission administered the second regular NLE of 2026 on August 29–30 across testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cauayan, Dumaguete (Negros Oriental), Ilocos Sur, Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Tagbilaran (Bohol), and Urdaneta (Pangasinan).
Note: The NLE in Region III, covering the San Fernando, Pampanga and Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija testing centers, was rescheduled to September 11–12, 2026. Meanwhile, the second day of the examination in the National Capital Region (NCR) was moved to September 12, 2026. The changes were made due to adverse weather conditions and Heavy Rainfall Warnings.

Release of NLE Results
Update as of 7:36 AM, September 18, 2026: The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) confirmed that the August–September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) results will be released today.
PRC said: “Trust your hard work—just a few more hours and the wait will finally be over! The result of the August and September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) will be released soon!”
“Stay calm, keep the faith, and tune out the noise. You’ve done your part—now it’s time to claim the professional titles you have worked so hard to earn. To the nation’s future Registered Nurses (RNs), advance congratulations!”
Previous Update
Under PRC Resolution No. 2113, Series of 2025, the August 2026 NLE results were scheduled for release on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Registration and Oathtaking
Successful examinees will register online for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (PIC) and Certificate of Registration (COR). Initial registration instructions will be posted on the official PRC website.
Date of Registration: Starting October 13, 2026
Newly registered nurses should access the PRC online services and follow the instructions for initial registration. The requirements include:
- Screenshot of the system-generated Registration Form
- Valid government-issued ID
Successful examinees must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Oathtaking: The date and details of the oathtaking ceremony for successful NLE examinees will be announced by the PRC at a later date.
Verification of Rating
The NLE results, including the ratings of passers and non-passers, can be verified online through the PRC's Verification of Rating service.
Examinees may access the service and provide the required information to verify their rating. The online verification may become available a few working days after the release of the results.
Coverage of Examinations
The two-day PNLE covered competencies based on the 11 key areas of responsibility under the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These competencies are grouped into four categories: patient care, empowering, enabling, and enhancing competencies.
The five (5) parts of the PNLE were:
- Nursing Practice I – Community Health Nursing
- Nursing Practice II – Care of Healthy/At-Risk Mother and Child
- Nursing Practice III – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations – Part A
- Nursing Practice IV – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations – Part B
- Nursing Practice V – Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alterations – Part C
