MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will release the complete results of May 2026 Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Electronics Engineer (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) on June 22, 2026. As announced, none passed out of 7 examinees in the ECE SPLE, while 7 of 9 examinees (77.78%) successfully passed the ECT examination.
The ECE and ECT Licensure Exam was given by the Board of Electronics Engineering (BEE) composed of Engr. Vicente L. Cejoco, Chairman, Engr. Adonis Q. Talabo and Engr. Gerhard P. Tan, Members.
The examination was held in Singapore and Taiwan on May 29, 30, and 31, 2026 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

According to PRC, the conduct of SPLE for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) shall be in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 1034 (s. 2017), Republic Act No. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835.

Release of Results
According to the PRC's advisory on the target release date of SPLE results, the results of the May 2026 SPLE for Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technician are scheduled to be released on Monday, June 22, 2026.
We advise takers to regularly monitor results announcements, as the results may be released earlier or later than the target date without prior notice.
Initial Registration
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please visit the official PRC website (www.prc.gov.ph) and follow the instructions for registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Coverage of Examination
The SPLE ECE board exam covers the following subjects: mathematics (20%), electronics engineering (30%), general engineering and applied sciences (20%) and electronics systems and technologies (30%).
Meanwhile, the ECT board exam covers technical subjects, laws and ethics.
