DOST-SEI RESULTS — The full results of the 2026 DOST Scholarship Exam for Academic Year 2026–2027, including the list of passers or qualifiers, are released by the Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 12PM.
The agency conducted the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination on February 21 and 22, and March 7 and 8 across 222 testing centers nationwide.
A total of 97,617 high school students took the highly competitive scholarship examination, vying for only 8,500 available slots for Fiscal Year 2026 due to budget constraints.
Luzon recorded the highest number of examinees with 57,951 aspiring scholars, while the Visayas and Mindanao registered 21,227 and 18,439 examinees, respectively.

Release of Results
DOST-SEI confirmed on Friday evening that the scholarship results will be released at 12:00 NN on Saturday, May 30.
To quote, DOST-SEI said: "Join us tomorrow, May 30, at 12:00 NN as we announce the qualifiers of the 2026 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarships."
Earlier, the agency released a video teaser with the caption, 'THE DATE IS SET. We can’t wait to welcome the new batch of DOST-SEI scholars!' The video also revealed the exact date to watch out for—May 30, 2025."

Notice of Award
The qualifiers will receive their Notice of Award, while the potential qualifiers will receive advice on the requirements they must resubmit. After which, all the qualifiers, with their parents/legal guardians, are invited to attend the orientation on S&T Scholarship Policies and Procedures.
Types of Scholarship
RA 7687 (Science and Technology Scholarship Act of 1994)
For academically talented students from economically disadvantaged families who plan to pursue degrees in the basic sciences, engineering, applied sciences, and science and mathematics teaching.
Merit Scholarship
For students with high aptitude in science and mathematics, regardless of family income, who are willing to pursue careers in science and technology.

Coverage of Examinations
The DOST-SEI Scholarship Exam covers Science, Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, and abstract reasoning to assess applicants’ academic readiness and critical thinking skills for STEM programs.
Previous Exams
In the 2025 DOST Science and Technology Undergraduate Scholarship Program, the DOST-Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) named 10,907 qualifiers out of 84,518 examinees, equivalent to a 12.90% passing rate.
In 2024, a total of 10,756 students qualified for the DOST S&T Undergraduate Scholarship Program out of 89,510 examinees nationwide.
In the 2023 DOST S&T Undergraduate Scholarship Program, DOST-SEI announced 9,776 qualifiers from 79,585 examinees.
For the 2022 DOST Undergraduate Scholarship Program, the agency named 10,487 successful qualifiers.
