MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Science and Technology - Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) officially releases this May 2026, the list of qualifiers in the 2026 DOST Scholarship program for academic year (AY) 2026-2027. View on this page for H-O list of passers.

Out of 97,617 examinees who took the national qualifying exam last February 21 and 22, and March 7 and 8, 2026, the list of qualifiers to the 2026 DOST-SEI Undergraduate S&T Scholarship Program will be announced. Passers will enjoy the benefits of their scholarship at the start of the first semester of the academic year 2026-2027.

This year’s pen-and-paper qualifying examination was administered in 222 testing centers nationwide.

Luzon accounted for the majority of examinees, with 57,951 hopefuls. Meanwhile, the Visayas and Mindanao regions recorded 21,227 and 18,439 examinees, respectively.

Extending beyond the Philippine archipelago, 48 aspiring scholars are scheduled to take the examination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a later date.

The qualifiers will receive their Notice of Award, while the potential qualifiers will receive advice on the requirements they must resubmit. After which, all the qualifiers, with their parents/legal guardians, are invited to attend the orientation on S&T Scholarship Policies and Procedures.

The new scholarship awardees must seek admission in any of the priority S&T Programs of study in state colleges and universities; CHED-recognized Centers of Excellence/Centers of Development and institutions with FAAP Level III accreditation for the programs they intend to enroll in.

DOST undergraduate scholars will benefit from the following:

  • Monthly stipend of ₱8,000
  • Tuition fee subsidies of up to ₱40,000 per academic year for those enrolled in private universities and colleges
  • Learning materials and/or connectivity allowance of ₱10,000 per academic year
  • One-time clothing allowance of ₱1,000
  • One economy-class roundtrip fare per year for scholars who will outside their home provinces
  • Thesis allowance of ₱10,000
  • Graduation allowance of ₱1,000
  • Premium group accident and health insurance
  • Research dissemination grant of up to ₱50,000, which scholars may apply for, subject to evaluation and approval for those who will present their research at conferences and/or publish in technical journals

Scholars are required to render service in the country preferably along their fields of specialization after graduation for a period equivalent to the number of years they enjoyed the scholarship as a return service.
