2026 DOST Scholarship Exam Results out May 30

In a Facebook post on Monday, May 25, the DOST-SEI released a video teaser with the caption, 'THE DATE IS SET. We can’t wait to welcome the new batch of DOST-SEI scholars!' The video also revealed the exact date to watch out for—May 30, 2025."

DOST-SEI announced that a total of 97,617 high school students took the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Examination on February 21 and 22, and March 7 and 8 across 222 testing centers nationwide.

Extending beyond the Philippine archipelago, 48 aspiring scholars are scheduled to take the examination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a later date.

The Institute said it will accommodate only 8,500 incoming first-year students (8.71% of examinees) for Fiscal Year 2026 due to budget limitations. Successful examinees will become part of the DOST-SEI scholar community, which currently consists of 48,520 undergraduate scholars, 4,414 master’s scholars, 1,438 doctoral scholars, and 329 foreign graduate scholars.

Out of this total, DOST will name qualifiers under the RA 7687 Scholarship Program that is dedicated to supporting academically talented students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

In addition, the list of qualifiers for the Merit Scholarship Program—awarded to students with exceptional aptitude in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics—will also be announced.
