MANILA, Philippines – Attention, train commuters! All Metro Manila rail lines will suspend operations for four days this Holy Week 2026 to observe the holiday and carry out annual maintenance activities.

LRT-1
The Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC), operator of LRT-1, will temporarily halt operations from April 2 (Maundy Thursday) to April 5 (Easter Sunday), 2026. This four-day closure will allow maintenance teams to conduct comprehensive system checks and essential upgrades across the entire line.
Operations will resume on April 6, 2026.
LRT-2
LRT-2 will also suspend services from April 2 to April 5, 2026 for its annual maintenance activities. These inspections and repairs will cover trains, tracks, power supply, and other critical components to ensure safe and reliable service for passengers.
Regular operations will resume on April 6, 2026 (Monday).
MRT-3
MRT-3 will halt operations from April 2 to April 5, 2026 for its Holy Week maintenance.
Train services will resume on April 6, 2026 (Monday).
