MANILA, Philippines – Several banks in the country will be closed from Maundy Thursday, April 2, to Black Saturday, April 4, 2026, in observance of Holy Week. Regular banking operations will resume on Monday, April 6, 2026. Check this page for the updated list of bank schedules.
Malacañang Palace, through Proclamation No. 1006, declared Maundy Thursday (April 2) and Good Friday (April 3) as regular holidays, while Black Saturday (April 4) is a special non-working day nationwide.

BDO Unibank
All BDO branches will be closed on April 2-4.
For continued convenience, you can also use their BDO Online, BDO Pay, ATMs, Cash Deposit, or Universal Teller Machines for your banking needs.
Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
All BPI branches will be closed on April 2, 2026 (Thursday) to April 4, 2026 (Saturday).
The BPI app, BPI online, ATMs, Cash Accept Machines (CAMs), and deposit or withdrawal services at May BPI Dito partner stores will remain available for your everyday banking needs except for the following dates and times due to scheduled compliance maintenance activities:
- April 2 to 3, 2026 from 11 PM to 10 AM
- April 4 to 5, 2026 from 11 PM to 10 AM
China Bank
All Chinabank branches will be CLOSED from April 2 to 4, 2026, in observance of the Holy Week. The regular banking schedule will continue on April 6, 2026.
City Savings Bank
All CitySavings branches will be closed from Thursday, April 2, 2026, to Saturday, April 4, 2026, in observance of Holy Week.
Sto. Niño and Ortigas branches will be OPEN on Monday, April 6, 2026, to serve your banking needs.
Regular operations for all other branches will resume on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP)
All DBP branches will be closed on the following dates in line with Proclamation No. 1006, s. 2025:
- April 2, 2026 (Thursday) – Maundy Thursday
- April 3, 2026 (Friday) – Good Friday
DBP branches will resume regular banking services on April 6, 2026 (Monday).
EastWest Bank
To continue serving you during the Holy Week, selected mall-based branches will be open on specific days.
You may also continue to bank anytime, anywhere with their app.
Landbank
All LandBank branches will be CLOSED on April 2, 2026 (Maundy Thursday) and April 3, 2026 (Good Friday).
LANDBANK ATMs, Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs), and digital channels will remain accessible 24/7 for your immediate banking needs.
Metrobank
All branches are closed from April 2 to 4, 2026.
