MANILA, Philippines – The Lanao School of Science and Technology Inc. has awarded a ₱500,000 cash incentive to Khim Erole L. Batersal for securing the top spot in the February 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE).

A Thanksgiving and Recognition Ceremony was held on Wednesday, March 18, to honor Batersal’s outstanding achievement. The event gathered school officials, faculty, students, and his family in celebration of his success.
“I will make sure that this privilege will be honored and used responsibly for meaningful purposes. I am truly grateful and delighted for this generous reward,” Batersal said.
“This support is not only a privilege but also a meaningful reminder of your trust and belief in my potential. I will carry this honor with humility and continue striving for excellence,” he added.
In recognition of his achievement, Batersal also received a plaque of recognition, medals, and commemorative memorabilia.
The school described his accomplishment as a historic milestone, bringing pride not only to the institution but also to the municipality and the Province of Lanao del Norte.

Batersal, together with his parents, received the honors and special awards during the ceremony. Prior to the program, he was also honored with a motorcade and photo opportunities with students and faculty.

Aside from the school’s incentive, Batersal is set to receive additional rewards from his review and training center, including a ₱800,000 cash prize, shoes, and a trip to Vietnam package.
Meanwhile, a total of 30,320 out of 45,936 examinees (66.00%) passed the February 2026 CLE, marking the highest national passing rate recorded in recent history. The results were released on March 13, 2026.
