MANILA, Philippines – Major banks across the country have announced their banking schedules for the 2025 Christmas holidays and New Year operations.
While most branches will be closed on key holidays, select bank branches will remain open on limited hours during the long holiday break to serve clients. Below is the updated list of banks and their operating schedules from December 24, 2025 to January 2, 2026.

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank)
Metrobank has yet to announce its banking schedules for the Christmas holidays. Clients are advised to check with their nearest branch or visit the official Metrobank website for the latest holiday schedule updates.
Even beyond regular banking hours, customers may continue to access services through the Metrobank Mobile App and Metrobank Online, available 24/7 for fund transfers, bill payments, and other financial transactions.

Banco de Oro (BDO)
Select BDO branches will operate on shortened banking hours on December 24, 2025 (Christmas Eve) and December 31, 2025 (New Year’s Eve), open until 2:00 p.m.
All BDO branches will be closed on December 25 and January 1 in observance of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

For uninterrupted banking services, clients may continue to use BDO Online, BDO Pay, ATMs, Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs), and Universal Teller Machines (UTMs).
Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)
All branches will be closed on the following dates:
- December 24, 2025 (Wednesday): Special non-working day
- December 25, 2025 (Thursday): Christmas Day
- December 30, 2025 (Tuesday): Rizal Day
- December 31, 2025 (Wednesday): Special non-working day
- January 1, 2026 (Thursday): New Year's Day
The BPI app, BPI Online, ATMs, Cash Accept Machines (CAMs), and deposit or withdrawal services at May BPI Dito partner stores will remain available for your everyday banking needs.
Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC)
RCBC has yet to announce its banking schedules for the Christmas holidays.
PSBank
All branches will be closed on the following dates:
- December 24, 2025 (Wednesday): Special non-working day
- December 25, 2025 (Thursday): Christmas Day
- December 30, 2025 (Tuesday): Rizal Day
- December 31, 2025 (Wednesday): Special non-working day
- January 1, 2026 (Thursday): New Year's Day

Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCom)
In observance of New Year's Day, all branches will be closed and the Customer Care Hotline will be temporarily unavailable. Banking transactions may continue through POP (PBCOM Online Platform), PBCOMobile, and nationwide ATMs. Digital Banking

LandBank has yet to announce its banking schedules for the Christmas holidays.
Security Bank
Only the following Security Bank branches will operate on December 24, 30, and 31, with limited banking hours:
- December 24 – Dipolog: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- December 30 – Bukidnon–Valencia: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; Surigao: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- December 31 – Dipolog: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
All Security Bank branches will be closed on December 25 and January 1.
Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP)
DBP branches will be closed on December 24 and 25, 2025, in observance of the Christmas holidays. Regular operations resume on December 26, 2025.
