Top Schools: November 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE) Results

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is expected to release the results of the November 2025 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE), including the list of top performing schools and the performance of schools, on or before November 26, 2025, or within thirteen (13) working days after the last day of the examination.

PRC administered the second regular NLE this year on November 4 and 5, 2025 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Cabanatuan, and Ilocos Sur.

Meanwhile, the NLE in Cebu, Iloilo, and Tacloban was rescheduled to November 6 and 7, 2025 due to Typhoon “Tino”.

Previous Examinations

In the May 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination (PNLE), the University of Pangasinan emerged as the top-performing school in the category of institutions with 100 or more examinees, posting a 99.16% passing rate. Meanwhile, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU)-Lucban, Eastern Samar State University-Borongan, and Universidad de Zamboanga-Pagadian shared the top spot in the 50–99 examinees category, all registering a 100% passing rate.

In the November 2024 PNLE, 11 schools achieved a perfect 100% passing rate and jointly led the list of top performing schools. These included the University of Santo Tomas (UST), Xavier University, Cebu Doctors University, Velez College, Angeles University Foundation, Bicol University-Legazpi, University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Saint Paul University-Iloilo, West Visayas State University-La Paz, and Central Mindanao University. Far Eastern University-Manila followed closely with a 99.82% passing rate.

In the May 2024 PNLE, Cavite State University (CavSU), SLSU-Lucban, and the University of Mindanao-Davao City shared the highest rank, all posting a 100% passing rate. Gordon College placed next with a 98.99% passing rate.

In the November 2023 PNLE, a total of 17 schools recorded a 100% passing rate. Among them were the University of Santo Tomas (UST) with 300 passers, Velez College with 234 passers, and Cebu Doctors University with 209 passers. Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) followed with a 99.49% passing rate, with 197 out of 198 examinees successfully passing the exam.

Schedule of Initial Registration

Online registration for new passers/successful examinees for license issuance will be conducted on the following date/s: To be announced (TBA)

Initial registrants are advised to register via the official website of PRC and follow instructions for initial registration. Here are the requirements:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

Verification of Ratings

All examinees of the November 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Exam (PNLE), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.

Refer to PRC Official Website to check your board exam ratings or score.

The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.

Oathtaking Details

The PRC will announce oathtaking schedules in few days after the release of exam results, and those attending in person must register by noon the day before via https://online.prc.gov.ph.

Inductees must print and bring their personalized Oath Form with a QR code for attendance tagging; those unable to attend in person can opt for an online or special oathtaking.

Following the ceremony, inductees must schedule their Initial Registration online through the same portal.

Coverage of Examinations

The two-day exam covered competencies in relation to the 11 key areas of responsibility contained in the Competency Standards of Nursing Practice in the Philippines. These areas are categorized as follows: patient care, empowering, enabling and enhancing competencies.

The five (5) parts of the NLE are the following:

  • Nursing Practice I (Community Health Nursing)
  • Nursing Practice II (Care of Healthy/At Risk Mother and Child)
  • Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part A)
  • Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part B)
  • Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychosocial Alternations - Part C)
