MANILA, Philippines – Several local government units (LGUs) announced suspension of classes on Monday, September 8, 2025, due to the bad weather condition.
According to state weather bureau PAGASA's 4:00 AM update on Monday, easterlies are affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Authorities reported that these areas have been experiencing continuous rains since Sunday night.
