SWLE RESULTS: September 2025 Social Worker board exam list of passers, top 10

MANILA, Philippines – The September 2025 Social Worker Licensure Exam (SWLE) results, including the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools, are released on September 15, 2025 (Monday), three (3) working days after the exam.

As announced, 7,334 out of 9,647 (76.02%) successfully passed the September 2025 SWLE.

The results of examination with respect to five (5) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Social Workers conducted the board exam in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on September 8, 9, and 10, 2025.

Release of Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 s. 2024, the September 2025 Social Worker Licensure Examination (SWLE) results will be released on Monday, September 15, 2025, within three (3) working days after the tests.

However, results might be released ahead of the target or on later date, without prior notice.

Update (September 15, 2025 – 8:45 PM): The PRC has confirmed that the results of the September 2025 Social Worker Licensure Examination (SWLE) will be released today.

In their announcement, PRC stated: “Future Registered Social Workers, get ready! The results will be out in just a few hours. Stay primed as the September 2025 Social Worker Licensure Examination results will be released soon!”

Registration Guidelines for Passers

PRC announced that the registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be conducted online. Applicants may complete their initial registration by visiting https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and following the step-by-step instructions provided on the portal.

Registration Schedule: Starting November 11, 2025

Examinees who successfully passed the licensure examination are advised to prepare and bring the following requirements during their scheduled registration:

• Printed and duly accomplished Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
• Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)
• Two (2) passport-sized photos, colored, with white background and complete name tag
• Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
• One (1) short brown envelope

Passers must personally appear at the PRC office to register and affix their signature in the official Roster of Registered Professionals.

The schedule and venue of the mass oathtaking ceremony for new professionals will be released at a later date, according to the PRC.

Verification of Ratings

All examinees of the September 2025 Social Worker Licensure Exam (SWLE), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.

The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.

Exam Coverage

The three-day licensure examination assessed examinees across key areas of the social work profession:

• Day 1: Human Behavior and the Social Environment; Social Welfare Policies, Programs, and Services
• Day 2: Social Work Practice I with Field Instruction I; Social Work Practice II with Field Instruction II
• Day 3: Social Work Practice III with Field Instruction III

Previous Examinations

The September 2024 Social Workers Licensure Examination (SWLE) recorded 4,587 passers out of 7,113 examinees, with results released after only three (3) working days.

A year earlier, in September 2023, PRC announced 3,878 successful examinees out of 6,833, also within three (3) working days.

For the September 2022 exams, results were likewise released after three (3) days, with 2,955 out of 4,723 examinees making the cut.

Meanwhile, the February 2022 board exam produced 533 new social workers out of 1,211 candidates, with results posted in four (4) working days.
